 Electric Company Utility Trailers (Catalog #02000-002)
Contract: El Paso Electric Company, El Paso, TX; 2/93 - 4/93

EMI engineered and completely fabricated five 4' x 8' utility trailers with air/hydraulic brakes, 8,000 lb. axle, 5,000 lb. front jack with castor, pintle eye draw bar, and provision for cable spool holder. The box is constructed of 1/8" x 2" square steel tubing, with 16-gauge steel bed.

 Stinger Trailer Refurbishment
Contract: Hughes Missile Systems Co., White Sands Missile Range, NM; 10/94 - 2/95

EMI purchased a 10-foot dual axle flatbed trailer and designed and built an interface for a customer-furnished radar mount to allow a remote Stinger launcher to be attached, so that azimuth and elevation tracking can be accomplished by the mount. EMI also fabricated and installed a weathertight enclosure for rack-mounted electronic equipment. A cable reel compartment on the rear of the trailer houses seven cable reels. The compartment can be rotated downward to allow more space during operation of launcher and tracking system. EMI also installed brackets to hold argon gas bottles, a customer furnished generator and a jib crane for removing the generator during operations.

Mobile Antenna Mount Trailer/LPJ Drawers (Catalog #02000-004)
Contract: White Sands Missile Range, NM; 9/92 - 3/92

EMI engineered and built five medium duty, single axle, 12-foot long trailers to be pulled with 1/2-ton pickups. The trailers include onboard generator with transfer switch, shore power, 42-foot telescopic antenna mast and compressor, cable storage bracket, rear slide-out stabilizers, leveling jack, and four storage compartments. EMI also fabricated five electronics cabinets, one for each trailer, with equipment slides, electrical power, heat strip and fan, and security door. Electronics were provided and installed by the customer.
